News: Rapper Lil' Eazy-E Arrested On Gun Charges In Compton
Rapper Lil' Eazy-E, known as the son of the late Eazy-E, was arrested on Saturday night (June 10) in Compton, California.
According to LA Times, the rapper (real name: Eric Wright Jr.) was arrested after being pulled over and a firearm was found upon a search of the vehicle.
"Mr. Wright was in possession of a firearm and he was arrested," Lt. Michael Alerich told the LA Times. "Two other guys in the car were also arrested, one for possession of a firearm and the other for a probation violation."
Lil' Eazy was the driver of the vehicle, which was pulled over for a traffic violation at around 6:30 p.m. on Compton Blvd.
He has been working on his debut album the last year, entitled Prince Of Compton, on Virgin Records.
Rumors have been circulating that suggest the rapper has recently been dropped from the label and no further information has surfaced regarding the release of his album. www.ballerstatus.net
